Let me congratulate and introduce you to A senior, Bisma Zaeem, of the graduating class of 2020 of Charles W. Flanagan. Due to the unfortunate circumstances caused by the pandemic of covid-19, her class of 2020 “walking across the stage” moment has been delayed. She has been nominated by her peers to share her Story. Lets wish her well on her future endeavors.

Q: Where do you go to school? A: Charles W. Flanagan
Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path? A: I’m planning to attend Nova Southeastern University as a marketing and business major.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family. Where are you from? A: I live with both my Parents and my elder sister. My Family is very loving and caring. My Dad is a professional Musician (DJ and a Drummer) and my mom is a beautician. We are all from Pakistan.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community? A: A cuople of my favorite restaurants in our community are Chick-fil-A and Silver Spoon.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community? A: Mohammad Imtiaz who is running for Congress.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why? A: I would go to Europe, because my dad has been there and always tells us how beautiful it is, so I’ve always wanted to travel there.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows? What show are you binge watching right now? A: Friends my all time favorite show. I’m binge watching Grey’s Anatomy right now.
Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher? A: Not from a teacher but from my mentor and he said tough times don’t last but tough people do.
Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to A: One direction, The 1975
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch? A: I would love to have lunch with Austin Godsey. He is someone I look up to and truly inspires me. Cheesecake Factory or some nice other brunch place.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community? A: I love how we have beautiful, diverse and clean communities around the neighborhood.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years? A: I see myself extremely successful in life. Retiring my parents and achieving all my goals and dreams.
Q: Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar? A: October- my birthday month, I love thanksgiving and of course New Years Day.
Q: Who inspires you to be better? A: My Mentor and My Parents .
Q: If you could go back over your entire school career what is one thing you would do different? A: I would do better my senior year more better by being more in school.
Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now? A: I miss everything about going outside, family gatherings, friends, team meet ups, events.
Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over? A: I want to travel.
